Since July, a new exhibition on the Irish Presidency has been open on the third floor of the Spinelli Building (Zone G). It features a selection of photograph portraits and the European Parliament Contemporary art collection.

Inspired by the Irish proverb “Those who travel have stories to tell,” the exhibition features 24 portraits of contemporary Irish writers by photographer Conor Horgan. Each writer is captured in a location that matters to them – from quiet homeplaces, seaside to vibrant city streets.

Irish literature travels far. Translated into many languages, these stories connect Ireland with readers across Europe and beyond. The featured authors represent the rich diversity and international reach of modern Irish writing.

The exhibition celebrates stories as a way to bring people together – moving across borders, languages, and cultures.
