This fanzine is made up of 84 testimonies on the feeling of local (Riojan) and European belonging, based on Maslow’s model of the good life, which provokes reflections on physiological needs, security, belonging, recognition, and self-realization. It is therefore a collective fanzine that offers a melting pot of truths from the privacy of each person’s handwriting.  The first series of anonymous testimonies took place on Sunday 7 April 2024, during the Plum Blossom Festival, in the Plaza de la Tela in Nalda (La Rioja). In this rural setting, 46 texts were collected in this first session, with the collaboration of PANAL, El Colletero, and Espacio Comün. The second round of testimonies received 38 participants and took place on Thursday, 9th May, from 17:00 in La Gota de Leche in Logroño, within the framework of the capacity building ‘Mani(nuestro)’. Cooperation between the local, the European, and the global’, coordinated by Mindchangers and CONGDCAR. Mani(nuestro)’ is part of Culture on the Ballot’s Pop The Vote! Culture on the Ballot, a project of Culture Action Europe, co-funded by the European Parliament, to run an artivist campaign in 14 different EU countries to inform about the 2024 European Elections by re-signifying the importance of culture as a fundamental sector in our contemporary societies #CulturalDealEurope #Culture2030Goal #TogetherEU #EE24.
