Ruth Bianco is a multidisciplinary artist who creates and leads projects in contemporary fine art exploring the dynamics of space, territory and transboundary movements. She has exhibited extensively, participating in major international and national exhibitions. She combines a keen interest in cultural geography and international art relations as ‘soft power’, having published conference papers on the topic. She curates exhibitions and initiates museum and international artist collaborations, having served as a consultant on a national cultural board, and as an art director establishing the foundational development and initial programming for Malta’s International Contemporary Art Space (MICAS) – a new platform for art.
