Alicja Bielawska tfittex interazzjoni u involviment permezz tas-sottilità u t-trażżin. Dan il-proġett ambizzjuż huwa appoġġjat minn sfond akkademiku rigoruż. Bejn l-1999 u l-2005, hija studjat l-istorja tal-arti fl-Università ta' Varsavja. Eżattament wara li lestiet l-istudji teoretiċi tagħha, hija marret tgħix f'Amsterdam biex tibda kors prattiku fid-dipartiment tal-Belle Arti tal-Akkademja Gerrit Rietveld (2005-2009), billi qattgħet semestru barra mill-pajjiż fil-Kulleġġ tal-Arti u d-Disinn ta' Central Saint Martins f'Londra matul l-2008. Bil-kurżità kontinwa tagħha, hija wettqet teżi prattika tad-Dottorat fl-Akkademja tal-Belle Arti f'Gdańsk fl-2018, taħt it-tmexxija tal-Prof. Katarzyna Józefowicz.

Bielawska tistinka biex l-okkorrenzi ta' kuljum jiġu riattivati permezz ta' lenti artistika, u b'hekk toħloq relazzjoni mal-oġġett fejn, konxjament jew le, l-ispettatur isir konxju tal-interazzjoni tiegħu ma' dak li qed jiġi perċepit. Czy jest bezruch pomiedzy poruszeniami hija rappreżentattiva tal-ispazju ibridu li fih ix-xogħol ta' Bielawska sab postu mingħajr ebda sforz. Nofs it-triq bejn l-ispazju illużorju u dak reali, il-pittura fuq il-ħajt tisfida l-perċezzjoni passiva permezz ta' element ta' morbidezza u vivaċità. Tabilħaqq, l-isferi jleqqu taċ-ċeramika huma mdendlin b'mod li jfakkru fin-numri ta' arloġġ. Madankollu, l-idejn tar-ram isfar ma jindikaw xejn. Għall-kuntrarju, bħal donnhom qed "jieklu" wieħed mill-istand-ins numeriċi – għalhekk il-pittura hi turi sens ta' ferħ. Bielawska hija magħrufa għall-isforz tagħha sabiex tnissel sentimenti ta' tifkira u nostalġija billi tuża kompożizzjonijiet mhux mistennija. F'dan ix-xogħol, l-effett jinkiseb pjuttost litteralment billi wieħed jimxi mal-kunċett tal-perċezzjoni tal-ħin innifsu. Siegħa hija meqruda, li tfixkel iċ-ċiklu u li tixħet dubju fuq il-kunċett proprju tagħna ta' ħin, it-tjassir tagħna għall-perċezzjoni tagħha.
